NPS report no more. Feedback instead.

There used to be a place to report non-performing sellers: http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactUs&wftype=2016&rcode=IV%25P20073&subject=Seller%20Non-Performance&bcrumb=+Home+%3E+Help+%3E%A0Rules+and+Policies%A0%3E%A0Rules+for+Sellers%A0%3E%A0Seller+Non-PerformanceRules+and+Policies%A0%3E%A0Rules+for+Sellers%A0%3E%A0Listing+Rules+Overview%A0%3E%A0Seller+Non-Performance&instruction=&expirationDate=

It still might appear to work, but using it results in a mechanical reply from ebay, which includes this advice:

If for whatever reason your seller is unwilling or unable to complete
the sale, we encourage you to leave the appropriate Feedback and
detailed seller ratings (DSRs) for them.

Further, on the help page discussing reports of inappropriate trading behavior, we find NPS listed as one of the things ebay will NOT investigate. Appropriate feedback is suggested instead.

  1. Well DUH! Way more damage is done by DSRs and another gimmick that helps to add to eBay's income. It's amazing how clever they come up with this. No way there are dumb people who run eBay.

  2. If non-performing sellers are replaced on the list of sellers receiving top rewards, that seems a good thing to me.
