Don't rely on good feedback of ebay motors sellers.
Apparently, they can pay to have most negs removed. So long as they made more profit on the transaction than they pay to remove the neg, they have a profitable business model.
The big losers are honest ebay motors sellers.
- seller even offered a 72 hour unconditional guarantee - after car arrived, major issues never described in the auction and even had odometer issues that seller knew about and did not disclose. I contacted the dealer 3 times within this window with no response. He contacts netneutral and lies about entire incident right before decision deadline for the "Neatral" to decide and just a few hours later a decision is reached.........and I have all of the proof of e-mails and communication between me and seller. Netneautral states that feedback will be removed. I have to only believe that the seller paid for the service and I used the "free service". I had to laugh out loud when I saw the decision - I cannot believe this "service" even exists....but I guess if you can buy your way out of a negative feedback, there will be a market for it. Unbelievable!! I know how you feel though.

ebay and net neutrals are crooks
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. What a shame ebay used to be a trusted entity but no more. we should petition net neutral out of ebay so crooks are out ebay.
DeleteIt does seem wrong. Ebay motors in general seems managed far more erratically. As if, Ebay doesn't really know how to make it work, but they want to keep involved just in case some better idea comes along.
ReplyDeleteJust experienced this ebay netneutrals racket first hand. Very dishonest association.
ReplyDeleteI had a valid reason for negative feedback with karkorner. KK paid netneutrals to have my complaint railroaded off the record by means of a rigged trial.
I am not suprised due to the high # auctions completed and 100 positive and rough condition of vehicle at pickup. That type of vehicle is short supply so I just swallowed after some protest. Had suspision is rating was somehow fixed. When email came from Netneutrals I said aha.
Now I now how it works.
NetNeutrals rips off sellers also I sold a LSV golf cart and buyer left negative feedback because his specific course would not allow personal carts!! I clicked link to NetNeutrals I thought this service was $1.30 and not $130.00 and think that is ridiculous! This is very misleading because there is no link to paypal that has me authorize like all other purchases I cant believe they would expect someone to pay $130 to negotiate feedback Maybe that is why they find in favor of buyers $130 WTF

ReplyDeleteApparently some sellers find $130 to remove the neg to be a bargain.
I got taken the same way .. but what's worse is that net neutrals deemed my negative feedback APPROPRIATE and said that it would be reposted. It never was!!! Any further attempts at contacting ebay or net neutrals about it were nothing but a waste of time .. and that's the crux, ebay, net neutrals and the seller know that people can't commit too much time to this kind of stuff.
