Not sure who came up with the idea that paying for lots of things at once was what buyers (or sellers) wanted...unless the action included a combined shipping discount.
Please, ebay, make the shopping cart useful.
Allow sellers to specify combined shipping discounts over multiple items, particularly BIN items.
Allow sellers to quote combined shipping on carts which in some way exceed the predefined discounts.

When multiple items shipping from the same location/seller combined/discounded shipping is possible. That's how it works in real world.
ReplyDeleteOn eBay every item in cart shipping from different sellers/locations and from sellers point of view there's no knowledge of other items in buyers cart.
The Ebay cart is useless as is. It just doesn't solve a problem anyone has.
ReplyDeleteIf a single seller could quote combined shipping, the cart would be highly useful.
The suggestion is to fix it. Whatever that means.
