Once a month or so, we encounter a new posting of the form:
I sent three emails asking if everything was ok, and if buyer would please leave feedback. Buyer left negative feedback. What should I do?
Dude. The one thing you did not want was feedback from someone who didn't want to leave you fb.
The real head slapper: half the time seller hasn't left fb for buyer while sending such begs.
Neutral: It is what it is?did not care for what I recieved so here is the feed back.
The rule of the day: leave sleeping dogs lie.

Why not adopt another (this time seller-friendly) rule that states "If a buyer does NOT leave a feedback the system will automatically record a positive XX days after the transaction date."
ReplyDeleteeBay may not like it but I bet the sellers would not have to beg for fb even when they deserve it.
A important percentage of no-fb from buyer results are buyer being generous.

Bullshit sg51. Buyers would either leave REAL feedback (i.e. "this item sucks") or they would continue to be lazy and sellers would get Positive feedback. People will ALWAYS complain, spend ANY time in Retail or Fast-food industry and you will find that out FAST.
ReplyDeletei'm waiting for fb from buyers due to a mess up on paypal's side, that their system is holding funds until a postive fb is left for some transactions, even though it was paypal's fault they put this hold crap on my account, "their systems would not allow them to override" b.s. so now, month later, i'm still waiting fb from 4 buyers and almost 1,000 is tied up "pending"
